Seems to me it would just be easier to repeal it. This list of things that needs improving shows the absurdity of this law in the first place.

    To a certain extent, I’m thinking “just put up with one that is clearly unconstitutional and wait for McDonald v Chicago to play out”.

    But, until then I won’t be able to buy a handgun in-state. I guess you could do a 2-stage transfer; buy on gun-broker, have them sell to their local Merchant o’ Death, have that merchant sell to my local merchant, buy. Given the vagarities of the permit process in NJ, that would be a bit nuts.
