Blue dog Democrats should know better than to cuddle up to Obama on guns.  Brian Schweitzer, Governor of Montana, is one of those Democrats who should know better, but he doesn’t.

    When Faction (any faction) trumps principle, especially Founding principles, nothing good can come of it. It was the same when Hugh (RNC Intermediate ScrutinyRadio) Hewitt tried to tell us to shut up, that Harriet Miers would make a great Supreme Court justice, and that even if she wouldn’t it wouldn’t be worth the damage a fight would do to the Bush administration (in other words, to the Faction).

    They also should know better than to dodge the issue, as Nick Lampson did down here in Texas. I’d like to think these Blue Dogs would stand up for us, but I am not confident.
