Especially when they are wielding revolvers. I would note that despite the Brady Campaign’s celebration of reasonable gun laws, they did everything they could to prevent people in DC from having the tools necessary to defend their homes.

On the same day we can read about one 85-year-old Pennsylvania woman who uses her legally-owned pistol to defend herself, we can also read about another 85-year-old New York City woman who apparently had no means to defend herself against a mugger in an elevator. She was lifted off of her feet and choked into unconsciousness.
