    There is a movement afoot to prohibit sharp pointy things (I think they are called “knives”) for - wait for it - your kitchen.

    Note however that a doctor’s scalpel, being under the usual delimitation (as in Boston MA) of three inches, would not be banned. Dinner-table “steak” pointy-things would be banned.
