    why would they refer to the inmates as “students” in the 2nd to last paragraph?

    i still stand by the assertion that if they are too dangerous to own a gun, they should be locked up until they are no longer such a danger…

    Reading the comments, it’s pretty clear how the gang bangers can fire 100 shots in a drive by and only hit innocent bystanders.

    I’ve stated in the past that I’d accept the support of ANYONE (be they hunters, pistol-shooters, gays, vegetarians, French citizens—whatever) who enjoyed shooting, and wanted to promote the sporting or self-defensive use of firearms. This isn’t quite true, however… I don’t want the ’support’ of career criminals, and I wouldn’t use anything they said or did to try and bolster my viewpoint (Aside from noting that if they WANT gun control, it might be a good idea to explore the reason for that, and head in the other direction).
    Apparently, the antis don’t share this scruple.
