Even CA laws (the way I read them) apply to centerfire .22 and up. I was under the impression that rimfires were OK?

On what planet is this banned? I just bought one last week. This gun is absolutely legal and is not on any assault weapons ban list because of the stock. I can name at least a hundred rifles with similar configurations that are 100% legal. Please tell us where you get your info.

It would have been banned under the Philadelphia Assault Weapons ordinance. But that ordinance was struck down in state court as illegal and unconstitutional.
