Calling the AHSA a “moderate gun rights organization” is like characterizing the Son of Sam as a “two bit criminal.” The AHSA is an anti-gun front group. Nothing more.

Yep, absolutely.  People who are moderately pro gun, and claim to represent the interests of hunters and shooters, don’t donate $5000 to a group called Handgun Control Inc. Ten grand if you count his wife.

    And sadly, the rotten reporting by the NYSun is proof that the AHSA scam is working precisely as it was always intended — to give political cover to anti-gun Democratic candidates.

    Yes, but having a New York paper buy it does exactly nothing for them. When local papers in rural America start to buy it, then it’s time to worry. But I have a fair amount of faith that most objective reporters can see AHSA for what they really are.
