Chicks and guns. And speaking of Geocaching, I think that’s one thing I’ve never done with Bitter. The weather is getting warm, and I desperately need the exercise.

Give it a try, it’s a blast! Of course I might be a bit biased ’cause I met my outdoor lovin’, gun totin’, motorcycle ridin’, computer geek wife while geocaching.
Some of the most memorable caches I’ve ever done are in yours and Bitter’s areas. Let me know if you need any pointers.

Geocaching is SO MUCH FUN. It’s also the only way I get John to go hiking with me. He doesn’t see the point of walking around aimlessly outside, but if it’s goal-oriented he’s all over it.

I have the same problem with Bitter. Maybe Geocaching will help me get her out there :)

Now look what Kit started… I ran across those pics last night and had a sudden desire to go roam over hill and dale looking for Tupperware and ammo cans. Found the GPS, and will probably be out by the end of the week. Maybe we could arrange an RKBA Geocaching meet… How about an ammo can full of ammo? :)

Geocaching would be more fun if the ammo cans actually contained ammo. Hell, I’d be doing it every weekend.

I found a cache in Maine a few years ago that was hidden in the vent of an ice cave. Even in summer the ammo can was like 50F inside. Some previous finder had left a beer in the cache. That’s against the rules (as is the ammo, sadly) so I did the proper thing and removed it. The can of beer seemed really heavy, so I also drank it to lighten the load. :)
