I almost missed this due to all the Heller buzz, but the other Sebastian actually debated Rebecca Peters, Queen of the International gun control movement, on Al-Jazeera. You can see video of it here. Good show!

Everytime I hear Rebecca Peters’ voice, and whoever the other dude spouting off the dumbest statements it’s hard for me not to go into a fit of rage destroying everything around me. The only thing that keeps me from doing so is the other Sebastian do his best to mop the floor them.

So let me get this straight. On one hand local governments need to be able to customize their gun laws to meet their societal needs. On the other hand, the DC gun ban isn’t working because of the gun laws in the neighboring regions.
Also, it was amusing to have a Brit lecture an American on how a democracy comes about and what is needed to form and maintain one.
