I am living in the frigging People’s Republic of NJ. While I voted against the man, I though John Corzine’s experiences on Wall Street would have taught him a little about economics. I have been proved wrong. There is no way on God’s green earth I’m voting for a Democrat, nor through inaction, allowing one to come into office (all that Argent’s First Rule). The Republican party is maybe a little dysfunctional, and their addiction to pork at the national level is worrisome. I disagree with some of their social policies (for a more complete list of problems with the Republicans, see Zendo Deb @ TFS Magnum). But for the Democrats, job #1 is keeping themselves in power and expanding the power of government into every facet of life so that their power expands there as well. I don’t want Hillary to be my Mommy; I don’t want Barry to be my Best Bud. I’d prefer McCain not be in charge either, but it’s much too late for that.

The presidential election cycle is the endgame for national party politics. If you want a different choice, you needed to be involved at the local and state levels YEARS ago. We’re faced with a sub-optimal choice because that’s what’s come up through the political process. Complaining about the presidential candidates available at this late date is like complaining that the field-goal kicker is on the field at 4th and 10 on the 30 yard line, and we’re 3 points back. Yeah, it’d be better if the offensive line had pushed the ball farther forward, or if the score was higher. We have a shot at overtime, or we can lose. Sit on the sidelines, or play the game - it’s your choice.

Now, I remember reading some of your drivel before so I’m left with no other possible conclusion than appreciating that you need a sledge hammer just to beat basic common sense into your own head.

I do however find it almost curious that you bother to waste your time regurgitating stats that don’t mean squat but, you don’t bother to read the material provided on this same page which proves your ignorance intentional…pretty damn pathetic of you Ian.

Paul had wrongheaded, immature and unprincipled punks performing everything from rigging online polls to spamming any article or forum remotely associated with politics and they, like their ludicrous candidate, have no idea what foreign policy demands of the United States nor what destruction to our society that legalizing drugs would have…Wherein, you again misinterpreted my obvious meaning of Fred’s available information on the internet that campaigns used to be responsible for offering, which is what was being discussed, to your changing the subject to your perceived support of candidates on the net.

Don’t get me wrong. I liked the guy. I donated money to his campaign. But he lost fair and square.

I’ve watched this whole cluster go down up close and personal since March where I know exactly what happened, when it happened and why.

FACT: Well over 70% of the entire citizenry have internet access in their own homes where Fred had his message, detailed plans and anything else a loyal voter could ever ask for right at their fingertips which not only proves a campaign staff completely irrelevant to his support but, it also proves the majority didn’t take their responsibility to find out past the drooling spin of the MSM as well as the agenda driven pundits!

AND if you had bothered to research everything I’ve already given you than you’ld know there is precious little difference between liberals and McCain.

I just don’t agree that McCain is worse than the Democrats. Handing the White House to one of two socialists is not the way to fix The Republican Party. If you think open primaries are a serious problem, and I’m not sure they are, then we need to pressure the party leadership to quit using that system, and return to using caucuses to send delegates to the convention.

If we destroy the party, we’ll be looking at decades of complete Democratic domination. If you want to know what that looks like, take a look at New Jersey and California. No thanks.

First, I don’t believe Fred will ever run again for any office ( we lost our chance at being governed by a true president ), his campaign staff didn’t have anything to do with our failure to see him receive the nomination and unless we scream like scalded cats McCain could be just as bad or worse than woefully unqualified and pathetically inexperienced sniveling liberal brats who are being supported only upon their skin color or gender.

This situation we find ourselves in is what nightmares are made of.
