But, again, parents need to parent, and teach their children about the dangers, and enjoyments, of firearms. Of course, that is never going to happen, so we have the joy of the federal/state/local governments stepping in and teaching <em>our</em> children what <em>they</em> like, and most people welcome the opportunity to hand over their parenting abilities and rights. The university has next to no impact on local politics -- and nobody on the school board is an academic. The brand new school board. We had a 53% election turnout to boot the school board out of office and elect a new one. Apparently, these dolts are as stupid as then ones we kicked out of office.
