Am I to understand that you and Ahab are in opposition to the NRA’s official position on this issue? That you would advocate for the negation of the bill they wrote and lobbied into law?

I have no problem with carry in schools personally, but it’s a very minority political view in this country, and tends to turn people off to the rest of your message, which is why NRA isn’t touching it now.

Isn’t AZ mulling allowing concealed carry by teachers?
Druther my druthers, I’d like to see action by this at the state level - mind you this requires the fed.goc to butt out…

Sebastian, I understand why they aren’t touching it now. But they didn’t have to lobby for it then.
