Heller Brief

Looks like DC filed it on time.  I guess you have to hand it to their attorney, who’s timeliness was rewarded by a sacking.

  1. Turk Turon Said,

Supposedly there will be oral arguments in March. As soon as they announce the date, I’m taking that day off. I’m gonna wear a conservative gray suit and go down to the SC building at 6:00 AM and stand in line. I want to see the oral arguments. It’ll be historic.

  2. Sebastian Said,

You’ll probably have to show up a lot farther ahead of time than that. I think most people will probably pay line standers.

  3. Turk Turon Said,

    Hmmm…
Line standers. A strong possibility. Drat.
OK, here’s my suggestion: we all form a consortium or monopoly and agree not to pay our line standers more than, say, $50 a day. Fix the price, right outside the SC building. Plus we agree not to attempt to bribe other members’ line standers, although bribing the line standers of non-members would be permitted. Further, we agree not to re-sell the places of line standers we have bribed, for a profit, except to non-members.
